100 Days of School

We've come to school for 100 days,
The time has just flown by.
Five months, two seasons and we're half way done,
When another surprise does arrive.
It's the 100th day of school today.
Let's start the day with a grin.
For tomorrow will be 101,
So let the celebration begin.

The kids have finished 100 days of school for this school year.  Aaron Michael's class dressed up as 100 year old men and women to celebrate the 100th day of school.  He was hilarious with the way he was practicing walking around like a little old man.  I put silver hairspray in his hair, although it didn't really stand out that much.  He said he wanted to be a handsome old man, so that's why he has on a tie and vest.  I was able to convince him to let me add some wrinkles to his face.

The Beginning of Our Blog

Hello Friends and Family!  Anticipating our move to England in July, I've decided to start a blog so that we can keep you all informed and up to date on our adventures.  Right now everything is a little stressful with trying to get the house ready to sell, but we are also very excited to begin our new journey. 

I was looking at a blog that another family had created who also just attended the same school Aaron will be attending, and I thought how wonderful it would be to also create one for all of you.  I really enjoyed looking at her photos of all the places they visited during their year in England.  I imagine we will take full advantage of every opportunity to travel and see what we can as this will probably be a once in a lifetime opportunity.  I'm thankful that the kids are old enough now that they should remember most of it.
