Preston

It's another half term break for the kids, so we decided to go on a trip around the United Kingdom.  First stop was Preston, UK, where our friend Dave Goodeve, his wife Allison, and children, Luke and Amber live.  We stayed at a wonderful place called Guys Thatched Hamlet.  We arrived there on Friday evening.  Dave and his family came to Guys Thatched Hamlet to spend the day with us on Saturday.  We started off with breakfast at the Hamlet, a little playtime for the kids and catching up for us adults, then off to a park close by, and later for dinner.  We had not seen Dave  since 1999.  It was amazing the things that we all remember from 13 years ago.  It was a lot of fun to catch up.  Allison and the children became instant friends.  You would have thought the kids had been friends forever by the end of the day.
