Neighborhood Circle Oktoberfest Party

I'm not sure if I've mentioned the type of neighborhood we live in.  We live on a circular street where there is a playground in the middle of our circle.  The neighbors here are very friendly and tend to have a lot of social gatherings.  In the first week we learned that instead of sitting in the backyard to have a BBQ or some friends over, they sit out at their tables in the front yard so friends from the neighborhood can drop by.   It's very social in our circle.  An Irish couple here, Scott and Nicole, decided to put together an Oktoberfest Party for our circle and it was a huge success.  There were two tents, a huge grill, and lots of beer and food.  There was even live music.  Elisabeth did face painting for the kids which turned out very well.  The kids had so much fun and looked so cute with their faces painted.  Having the playground right in the center of it all, the kids had lots to do.  There were quite a few of us who dressed up for the occasion as well.  Afterwards, the party seemed to end up in our front yard which later turned into Singstar in our livingroom.  It was a very fun day and night.  We learned that the girls are still so much better singers than the guys are!  I must give them lots of credit for being such good entertainers though.
