Spain Day Two

Today we decided to adventure out to a nearby town called Peniscola which Aaron and I kept wanting to call Pensicula.   After driving around a bit to find a good parking space (by the way we couldn't read the parking signs which made it hard to determine whether or not we were able to park there), we finally found a good spot on the beach.  Peniscola is a beautiful town with a really nice beach where a 14th century castle sits on the top of a hill by the sea.  There are also hundreds of white stucco homes built along the side of the hills.  Before we headed up the hill to tour the castle, we at ate one of the very few restaurants that were open considering it was siesta time (the time of day where they take naps in the middle of the day, usually between 4pm and 7pm).  During this time most of the shops and restaurants close down and reopen after siesta is over.  After we ate, we let the kids play at the beach for a little bit where they had a really cool rectangular rope gym to climb on.  Then we headed up to the castle for a little shopping, photography, and tour of the castle.  The narrow streets winding up the hill with all the restaurants and shops were cool.  The view from the top of the castle was beautiful.
